The 4th Brazil Africa Forum

The 4th Brazil Africa Forum in association with East African Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture (EACCIA) invited delegates to a forum that would share strategies for the development of agriculture in Brazil and Africa, where representatives of governments and the private sector, business leaders, potential investors and the academia would be involved in a high-level discussion on environment with key segments of Brazil and Africa in the agriculture sector.

The 4th Brazil Africa Forum - strategies for the development of agriculture in Brazil and Africa were held in Foz do Iguaçu - Brazil, on the premises of Itaipu Technological Park (PTI), located at Itaipu Hydroelectric Power Plant. The city of Foz do Iguaçu is the second destination for foreign tourists in Brazil, internationally known for Iguaçu Falls (one of the Wonders of Nature), and the Itaipu Hydroelectric Plant (the second largest in the world in size and first in power generation).

The 4th Brazil Africa Forum - strategies for the development of agriculture in Brazil and Africa aimed to encourage a broad debate on the opportunities of the agricultural sector in Brazil and Africa.

As an international conference and business platform that seeked the forefront of farming trends, the event led important discussions around different themes: biotechnology, family farming, fertilizers and chemicals, financing and subsidies, inspection and food processing, infrastructure, food security, irrigation, fruit growing, international certifications, livestock, nutrition, bio-energy, cooperation, transformation, etc.
